Sophie expressed a keen interest in performance from an early age and began pursuing the Arts after her high-school years, completing a BTEC in Performing Arts at Chesterfield College and graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a first-class honours degree in Performance for Stage and Screen, where she studied a broad range of modules, including Classic Text, Broadcast Performance and Music in Film. Since finishing University, Sophie has gained her PGCE and now enjoys a fulfilling career, teaching Singing and LAMDA in private and mainstream establishments. She will be embarking on her LAMDA Examiner training in 2025. Sophie has excellent knowledge of a multitude of exam boards, offering LAMDA, ABRSM and Trinity College examination preparation on a private basis whilst also offering University and Drama School preparation lessons. Her confidence-based style of teaching, along with her skills and expertise ensure energetic, cultivated lessons, full of opportunities for pupils to demonstrate their learning.
